# Becoming a Creator

Most people on Aardvark are users — and that’s perfectly fine.

Becoming a creator is optional and only meant for people who want to share deals with their own audience.

There’s no pressure to decide now.

Creators on Aardvark are users who choose to unlock creator tools.

As a creator, you can:

* Add and manage your own deals
* Create a Link-in-Bio page
* Share deals in a way that lives beyond a single post
* See how your deals perform over time

You still keep everything you can do as a user.

#### When becoming a creator makes sense

Becoming a creator might be a good fit if:

* You already share product recommendations
* Brands give you affiliate codes or referral links
* You want a clean, permanent place for your deals to live

If that’s not you, there’s no downside to staying a user.

If and when you’re ready, you can become a creator directly from your account.
