# How Aardvark Works

Aardvark connects creator deals to users **at the exact moment they matter** — when you’re already on a brand’s site.

There’s no feed to scroll and no codes to search for. Everything runs automatically in the background.

***

#### Step 1: Follow Aardvark Creators

On Aardvark, following creators is how deals unlock.

When you follow a creator, you gain access to the deals they’ve added for brands they work with.

These deals aren’t scraped or guessed — every deal is intentionally added by a creator and tied to their profile.

***

#### Step 2: Install the Aardvark Browser Extension

The Aardvark browser extension runs quietly in the background and notifies you when a deal is available from creators you're following.

When you visit a brand’s website, the extension checks:

* Whether that brand exists on Aardvark
* Whether creators you follow have active deals for that brand

***

#### Step 3: Aardvark Detects a Match

If one or more creators you follow have a deal for the brand you’re visiting, Aardvark notifies you.

If no followed creators have a deal, nothing appears.

***

#### Step 4: Select a Creator-Backed Deal and Active Savings

When multiple creators have deals for the same brand, you can choose which creator to support.

Once selected, their deal is revealed and ready to use.

***

#### What this means in practice

* Deals only appear **when you’re already shopping**
* Deals only come from **creators you follow**
* Every deal is tied to a **real creator relationship**

That’s the entire system.
